to the Master Plan and Land Use Ordinances that will be needed to enable
a sustainability initiative for Hanover Township. Florence Block, Executive

an overview regarding the sustainability initiatives that other Municipalities have undertaken
as well as the requirements for LEED certification and Sustainable design.
An EDAC subcommittee has been established to determine an overall
plan to address the Environmental, Renewable Energy Generation,
and Efficient Building Design requirements for a comprehensive
Sustainability Program for Hanover.
The current priorities are the development of an overall Sustainability Strategy,
the establishment of a Renewable Energy Ordinance, and the revision of the
town's current Tree Removal Ordinance.
